The B.Sc in Respiratory Care Technology is a specialized 4-year undergraduate program (3 years academic + 1-year internship) dedicated to the management of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), this course trains students to operate ventilators, manage artificial airways, and perform complex lung function tests. Eligibility Criteria

Looking for B.Sc Respiratory Care admissions in Bangalore? Applicants must meet the following RGUHS eligibility standards:

  • Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 (PUC II) or an equivalent examination with Science subjects.

  • Core Subjects: Mandatory subjects include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).

  • Minimum Marks: At least 45% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST candidates of Karnataka).

  • Age Requirement: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.

  • Lateral Entry: Diploma holders in Respiratory Care Technology (recognized by RGUHS) are eligible for direct admission to the 2nd year.
