Diploma in Dialysis Technology (DDT)

The Clinical Backbone of Modern Renal Replacement Therapy

The Diploma in Dialysis Technology is a focused paramedical program designed to produce frontline healthcare professionals specialized in life-saving renal care. Affiliated with the Para Medical Board (PMB), Government of Karnataka, this course equips students with the technical skills required to perform hemodialysis on patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). At Mathrushree, students are trained within our In-House Dialysis Center, ensuring they master the operation of advanced dialysis machines and patient monitoring protocols.

Program Highlights

  • Direct Clinical Posting: Unlike standalone institutes, our students train daily in the Mathrushree Multi-Specialty Hospital, managing real-time dialysis sessions.
  • Dialysis Machine Mastery: Hands-on training in setting up extracorporeal circuits, priming dialyzers, and troubleshooting machine alarms.
    • Vascular Access Care: Learn the critical techniques of cannulation for AV fistulas and the management of central venous catheters.

  • Water Treatment Expertise: Practical knowledge of operating and maintaining Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants, essential for safe dialysis.
