The Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology (DOT) is a specialized paramedical program designed to produce skilled Ophthalmic Assistants and Technicians. Affiliated with the Para Medical Board (PMB), Government of Karnataka, this course trains students in vision assessment, refractive errors, and the management of ophthalmic equipment. Eligibility Criteria

  • Looking for Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology admissions in Bangalore? Applicants must meet the following Para Medical Board standards:

    • Academic Qualification:

      • 3-Year Track: Candidates must have passed SSLC (10th Standard) from a recognized board.

      • 2-Year Track (Lateral Entry): Candidates who have passed 10+2 / PUC II (Science) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) are eligible for direct second-year entry.

    • Minimum Marks: A pass in the qualifying examination with at least 40% aggregate marks (35% for SC/ST candidates as per board norms).

    • Age Requirement: Minimum 15 years for the 10th-entry track and 17 years for the 12th-entry track.
