B.Sc Neuro Science Technology

Decoding the Human Brain: Advanced Training in Neuro-Diagnostics

The B.Sc in Neuro Science Technology is a specialized 4-year undergraduate program (3 years academic + 1-year internship) that bridges the gap between engineering and neurology. Affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), this course trains students to perform and interpret sophisticated tests that diagnose disorders of the brain and nervous system. At Mathrushree, students are immersed in our high-tech Neurology wing, gaining mastery over the tools that map human neural activity.

Program Highlights

  • Advanced Neuro-Lab Exposure: Train directly in our Multi-Specialty Hospital, performing real-time EEG, EMG, and Nerve Conduction Studies.
  • Stroke & Trauma Integration: Gain hands-on experience in our 24/7 Trauma Center, assisting in the monitoring of patients with acute brain injuries and strokes.
  • Sleep Study Specialization: Access to specialized Polysomnography (Sleep Study) equipment to diagnose and manage sleep-related neurological disorders.
  • Intensive Care Monitoring: Learn the complexities of Intraoperative Neuro-Monitoring (IONM) and continuous bedside EEG in the ICU.
  • Expert Neurologist Mentorship: Learn directly from practicing Neurologists and senior Neuro-Technologists within our clinical ecosystem.
