Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

  • Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 55% marks in the qualifying undergraduate degree (50% for SC/ST candidates of Karnataka).

  • Experience Requirement:

    • For B.Sc Nursing (Basic): Minimum of one year of work experience after obtaining the RGUHS result in a hospital or nursing educational institution.

    • For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: No additional experience is required after graduation, provided the candidate has the required experience prior to the degree.

  • Registration: Must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN & RM) with the Karnataka State Nursing Council or any other State Nursing Council.

  • Age Limit: Candidates should generally not have attained the age of 48 years at the time of admission.
